Study Traditional Irish Music

All our guests can avail of music tuition throughout the year whilst homestaying in our rural location in Leitrim. We have fully qualified teachers with years of experience in Irish Music offering intensive music lessons. We cater for beginners or intermediate students of tin whistle, harp, fiddle, concertina, accordian, uileann pipes, banjo, mandolin, bodhran, flute, banjo as well as traditional Irish singing lessons.
We are also fortunate to offer homestays near the town of Drumshanbo which hosts the Joe Mooney school of Irish traditional music. A popular Irish music festival where the stars of the show are the tutors and students of an array of instruments. Its possible to spend 5 mornings a week doing intensive music lessons leaving the afternoons and evenings free for the traditional sessions that take place throughout the town. Students are encouraged to join in the sessions in the numerous pubs and centres. The streets of the town of Drumshanbo positively hums as it becomes one big music session. Its possible to listen to 3 different sessions in different corners of the one pub at the same time and be entralled....!
